A professor wants to create a test that has 15 true-false questions, 10 multiple choice, and 5 essay. She wants the test to be worth 100 points with each MC question worth 2x as many points as a TF question and each essay question equal to 3x the # of points of a TF. How do I set up the equations?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let one TF question be worth X points. => one MC question is worth 2X points and one essay is 3X points. now you have 15 true-false questions, 10 multiple choice, and 5 essays. and all these total upto 100 points => 15 X + 10 (2X) + 5(3X) = 100 Solve it up! :)
