OpenStudy (anonymous):
(9+4i)(9+4i)= 81+36i+36i+16i^2 81-16 + 72i= 65+72i

\[-16=16(i^2)=16(-1)\]

so the answer is just going to be 65+72i (simons 9^2 does not equal 28 =/
