i am trying to do a lab on how colors depict people's feelings, like purple could represent sadness, or yellow sould be a happy color. but i have to make my lab quantitative, so how do i do that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Maybe have people rate their emotions based on the colors on a scale of 1-10, with ten being the strongest emotion they could experience when viewing a color, if that makes any sense. I might've misunderstood the question a little, but I think that having a scale of 1-10 might be a good way to make it numerical. I hope that helps!:)

thats what i was thinking... but i think my teacher wants a little more. thanks for the help, but i am going to see how many other answers i get

I'm not too sure either but maybe you could count the number of times they blink, or time the amount of time they spend with nervous fidgeting.. though those are effected by other factors too.
