3(x^2-2x)-5=0
3(x^2-2x+1)-3 -5=0
3(x-1)^2 -8 = 0
3(x-1)^2 = 8
(x-1)^2 = 8/3
x-1 = +- sqrt(8/3)
x=1 +- sqrt(8/3)
