OpenStudy (riley):

Calculate dy/dx. You need not expand your answer. What am I doing wrong with this one? >_< y = (7x^2-9x+11)/2x+4 I used the quotient rule, and came up with: dy/dx = (14x^2-38x+22)/(2x+4)^2 However, thats not the correct answer, oof.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dy/dx=14x-9/2

OpenStudy (riley):

Wait, how are you left with just 2 in the denominator?

OpenStudy (riley):

Not the correct answer . . . I'm not sure how you got 2 by itself in the denominator either??
