on a trip mark drives the 600 mi to richmond averaging a certin speed. the return trip is made at an average speed that is 10mph slower total time for the round trip is 22hrs. find marks average speed on each part of the trip?

so if it took him 22 hours to drive to Richmond and back then it took him 11 hours to drive one way.. Speed is given by the equation \[Speed = \frac{d}{t}\] So to drive to Richmond he drove an average of 54.5455mph.. And if the return trip he drove 10 mph slower then he averaged going to Richmond then he drove 44.5455 mph on the return trip.
