How to reduce the ripple factor of a bridge rectifier from 0.48 to 0.1 approximately???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not 100% sure what you mean, but you need to add damping to the system. There are many ways to do this. You basically need to increase the resistance the bridge experiences as it sways side to side. Assuming this is an oscillator/resonance type question, I think the exponential part of the damping term goes like b/2m.

You need an RC circuit with a time constant that, relative to the frequency of your input AC current, is such as to reduce the ripple factor by the amount specified.
