How can we reduce the ripple factor of a bridge recitifier from 0.48 to 0.1 approximately ???
try to use capacitor.the value of capacitor depends on circuit
ripple factor signifies the ac component(ripples), by def its ratio of rms value of ac component to value of dc component. so inorder to reduce use a capacitor which denies the sudden(instantaneous) changes in voltages which is the characteristic of ac signals.
Use the formula: V_ripple = V_max / (2 * input_ac_frequency * R_load * Capacitor_connected_in_parallel) Put the known frequency of your ac voltage source, its maximum value, resistance of the load you are going to use and on the left side use V_ripple to be 0.1. From here you'll get the value of the capacitor you need to connect in order to get your required(in this case 0.1) ripple voltage. You can also fix the capacitor and find the resistance which will bring the same effect. Try the combination of different capacitor and resistor values, you'll enjoy it. Have fun (:
