WHAT 1/3X 28??????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

explain .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is that supposed to be an equation like : (1/3x) = 28 or maybe (1/3x) * 28 = 0 I assume you need to solve for x?? in your reply use the equation editor, much easier to print equations that make sense

OpenStudy (anonymous):

NO.... Just the fraction 1 over 3 times 28??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

28/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok than that is the same as (1/3) * (28/1) so... (1*28) / (3*1) = 28/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or 9.333...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{1}{3}\times 28=\frac{28}{3}=9\tfrac{1}{3}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

THANKS SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH !
