My step sister is moving to London from Florida next month. She has already taken algebra I and II in high school over there and I am told got high marks. Is it a good idea for her to do an A'level in mathematics?? Would it be a huge contrast to what she learnt is her US school?

oh ok - probably its a good idea. Has she recently been studying algebra?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes and also geometry and trigomentry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right - if she had high overall marks then she should have no problem.

though she must be prepared to work hard because its quite an intensive course. there is a choice of courses Pure math, statistics and mechanics. Some examination boards also offer Discrete math.
