5x2 - 10x factor completely

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

x(5x -2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did u get tht barrap?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

take a common factor as 5x ===> 5x(x-2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but like how do u do tht? i dont understand..im slow wen it comes to math it just doesnt click

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the common factor between 5 and 10 is 5, in this case, they both have x in common as well. so you can pull out a 5 and an x from both of the factors, and whatever you are left with goes inside the parenthesis....5x(x-2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok so if i were to show the work it wud only be 5x2-10x 5x(x-2)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, there isnt other work you can really show for this problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank u amk11

OpenStudy (anonymous):
