solve the quadratic equations. If an equation has no real roots, state this. in cases where the solutions involve radicals give both the radical form of the answer and a calculator approximation rounded to two deciamal places. x^2=8x+9

x^2-8x-9 (x+1)(x-9) roots are (-1,0) and (9,0)

Just a hint for you. If you ever want to make sure that a quadratic equation has real roots, just apply the discriminant and see if you can get a zero or more than that. If you get a negative number, then there are no real roots.
