Given the points P=(−1,−3,−1), Q=(−3,4,−3), R=(−3,−3,1) and S=(1,3,3), find the volume of the parallelepiped with adjacent edges PQ, PR and PS. I used |a*(bxc)|, with a=PQ=<-2,7,-2>, b=PR=<-2,0,2>, and c=PS=<2,6,4>. I got 15 as my answer, but it's not correct. I was wondering if anyone could tell me where in my calculations I went wrong?
