The conversion formula is F = 9/5 C + 32 You can see this from the freezing and boiling points of water.

okay... give me a sec, I'll get the formula for you
Water freezes at F = 32, C = 0. And boils at F = 212, C = 100
You'll see that both of these sets of values satisfy the equation I wrote down.
C = 5/9 (F-32
