Just google it, it'll do the conversion for you

OpenStudy (jamesj):

Google is great in closed book exams too!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok. but i am trying to get abetter understanding on the steps

OpenStudy (jamesj):

The conversion formula is F = 9/5 C + 32 You can see this from the freezing and boiling points of water.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay... give me a sec, I'll get the formula for you

OpenStudy (jamesj):

Water freezes at F = 32, C = 0. And boils at F = 212, C = 100

OpenStudy (jamesj):

You'll see that both of these sets of values satisfy the equation I wrote down.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C = 5/9 (F-32

^ that's what google gave me
