can someone edit this for me? the ? asks, write about a time when hard work paid off. Learning the word english led to five years of hard work. Yellow dictionary book lying on the floor, waiting to be looked at but never made it seem important, until the day single tears filled up the bed like a river. Every day I would go to school sitting in my desk when the pretty little girls sitting next to me would ask me to say a word then turn around and giggle at the word said, I would always wonder what was so funny until one day my closest friend telling me that I did not know how to speak eng

I won't edit this because it does not answer the question. You need to write about a time you had to work hard at something, and how it helped you. Why was the hard work worth it? You wrote about a time you were being made fun of. There was no hard work involved at all.

Maybe you should say something like: I disliked my English book. I always used to leave it lying around on the floor because I didn't think it was important enough. I decided one day to put some hard work into learning English because I felt bad when some girls at school made fun of me and I couldn't understand what was being said. I started using my book and practicing and now I am able to speak and read English well.
