Is this correct? In regards to the bidirectional DNA replication, each daughter strand is growing continuously in one direction, and also growing discontinuously in the opposite direction?

semidiscontinously in the other direction it is being made in Okazaki fragments..google Okazaki fragements

leading strand is the one that is being made continuously in a 5' to 3' direction and the lagging strand (with the Okazaki fragments) is being manufactured in the opposite (3' to 5') direction...hope this helps
