This website is a very, very good idea but it is not fast enough or well known enough to work for people with questions on homework that is due the next day. To make this more productive, there should always be a teacher, or someone who is very skilled at the specific subject, there to answer any questions.

Yeah, but no-one can know everything (even from a single subject) and its based on the volunteer effort of the answerers. They are organizing something about the lack of activity though. And if you are worried about the lack of people on here, invite all of your friends :)

I'm not saying you are doing this, but a lot of the questions on this forum are asked out of laziness.  I can tell some of the questions are straight out of the text book, which is where the answer can be found if students bothered to read the chapters assigned to them.  But instead, they rely on strangers to do their work for them, and they learn nothing.
Also, even though I dont' know the answers to some of the questions, I can still answer them simply by using Google.  Again with the laziness.  They just don't want to do the work.

Exactly...and there are some people (amistree cough) that will answer fast. Math is perfect for next day. And physics and computer science sometimes is, depending of how hard is the question. This is a site to study and to get help if you dont understand a topic, not to make your homework :)

That's true, I just meant that maybe the website should have a few people checking it every day to make sure all of the questions are answered. I agree with you on the laziness though because I was shocked when I saw somem of the questions on here! There was a few of them where I almost aswered "just google it! you're going to have to type in the question either way!"

We do what we can by attracting big helpers for the topics we can.

As for people who just come ask for homework, we just have to try and make them work a little harder and hopefully gradually help them learn the material. Yes, some people are on here just because of laziness, but they'll get bitten by it when they end up doing poorly on their exams.
