OpenStudy (anonymous):

take any two points on the line and calculate the slope. y =-2x + 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\y = mx + b, m=slope \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B is the Y intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-2 is the slope, it is already indicated

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if x=1 then y=1 if x=2 then y=-1 so use the 2 points(1,1) and (2,-1) and the formula for slope is the difference in the yvalues divided by the difference in the x values(taken in the same order of course) and you will get -2 the long way but as you were asked to do.
