3 brothers share some cash. The ratio of Mark's and David's share is 1:2. The ratio of David's and Paul's share is 1:2. What is the ratio of Mark's share to Paul's share?

Someone may correct me if I am wrong, but I think as M:D = 1:2, and D:P = 1:2, You can times the second ratio by 2, to get D:P = 2:4 Then equate M:D:P = 1:2:4 Ie, M:P = 1:4

Thanks fely90, I think that will help. Cheers
