can anyone give me any ideas about what i can do to test a person's reaction time (lab)??? Not the same old dropping a ruler and catching it and measuring the distance at which it is caught, pls.

well you could use a light in a dark room every time the light flashes the person would have to do something while you time how fast it was done. for example when you flash the light they would have to turn on the water or open the door. Another way you could test it would be to have them sit in a chair and every time a certain sound was made they would have to get out of the chair. Really anything of this type would be sufficient but the important part is timing multiple trials of the same action.

Reaction-time test. Computed based. You can find lots on the internet. Just search on Google for it. Best of luck.
