derivative if y= f(x) = ( x cubed - 1) (x cubed plus 1). is the answer 6x to the fifth. how far do you simplify?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[6x^5\] is right. Thats as far as you can simplify

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(x^3+1)(x^3-1)=x^6-1\] take the derivative of \[x^6-1\] get \[6x^5\] via the "power rule"

cool i was just making sure you did simplify that far.
