OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

What is the difference between an infinite, jump, & removable discontinuity?

OpenStudy (jamesj):

What are the definitions of each of those terms and an example of each? You should have that in your text or class notes.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

infinite is when the limit of f(x) is infinity jump is when the limit from the positive and the negative are not equal and removable is when you cancel to obtain a limit for f(x)

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

@JamesJ There is no example in this book, its a Glencoe ;P

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

lgbasallote, can you please give me an example? Or a graph of them?
