Maybe I'm reading the question wrong but for me, the equation was
82 = 19 + 2x

game played = 82
won= 19+2y ; where y is the loss
game played = win + loss
82= 19+2y+y 
82= 19+3y
3y= 82-19 = 63
y= 63/3 = 21

sub y in equation, then 
won = 19+ 2*21= 61
