Please help!! A company's yearly profits from 1996 to 2006 can be modeled by the function y=x^2-10x+125 where y is the profit (in thousands of dollars) and x is the number of years since 1996. a. In what year did the company experience its lowest yearly profit? b. What was the lowest yearly profit?

skip the verbiage and find the vertex using \[x=-\frac{b}{2a}=-\frac{-10}{2\times 1}=5\]
so year 5 and then compute with x = 5 to answer the second question

Year 5 would represent 2001 and when you plug 5 back in, the profit is 5^2-10(5)+125=100 which represents $100,000
