I'm writing a essay now, and it's about the impact of the civil rights act of 1964, and one of my points is the voting rights.I've already found some sources, and I need to use some figures, so I'm not sure how to do in-text citation with that or the format of using the statistics while the statistics come from a secondary resource.thanks :)

You can use the statistics, but the in the caption refer to where you've got it from (perhaps by footnote, depends on what citation style you use). Also make sure to list the source in your Reference list.
