Since u hv deleted the other post I'll explain this question to show the method
-y-52=33
adding 52 to both side (basically to eliminate -52 from LHS)
-y-52+52 = 33+52
-y = 85
Now multiplying both sides by -1
-y * -1 = 85*-1
y = -85
