OpenStudy (dcolley):

Find the horizontal asymptote,if any, of the graph of the rational function 18x^3/8x^2+9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Again, by theorem, when an improper rational function has degree of the numerator greater than the degree of the denominator, there is no HA. FYI: (I don't want to confuse you, but when the degree of the numerator is greater by exactly one, you have an oblique asymptote, i.e., of the form y=mx+b. Since this was not asked, I'll not show to get it.)
