Writing 21 Online

I am writing a paper that the professor will only see on a computer. There will be no print copy. What are the differences for this format? It appears that seeing something on a monitor is different than seeing it on a piece of paper. Thx!

If you write the document in word and send it to your professor... when he opens the document in word, it will be formatted exactly how you set it up when you created the document. If he is reading it in email because you typed it into an email, then it will depend entirely on how he has his email reader set up.

I wouldn't worry about how it looks. It will print just how you typed it. Page one is page one, on paper or on the screen. What I would worry about is the fact that, by viewing it from his computer, your spelling and grammar mistakes will show up, too. So, I would pay close attention to those things when writing my paper.
