Find the domain and range of the function. f(x)=1/2 lx-2l

OpenStudy (anonymous):

domain = (- infinity, infinity) range = [0, infinity) graph is moved left two from origin, no negative y values because of the absolute value (looks like a V) and the 1/2 horizontally stretches the graph / vertically shrinks it.

OpenStudy (across):

The function \[f(x)=\frac{1}{2}|x-2|\]is defined everywhere. However, notice that its range does not include the negative numbers.
