Find the distance between the points: P1(a,a) P2(0,0) Formula: Square root of (x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2

OpenStudy (across):

You are given two points AND the formula you need to find their distance, and you still need help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (across):

\[P_{1}=(a,a)\]\[P_{2}=(0,0)\]\[L=\sqrt{(a-0)^2+(a-0)^2}.\]Can you solve that?

If you only one this site to critcize people then what's your problem? I'm sorry that some people are at different levels in math and I'm sorry that I get confused when variables are used. So get over yourself.

OpenStudy (across):

I am not criticizing anyone. The sky is blue. I think I just criticized the sky. I want you to think for yourself. Make an attempt at solving the question and I'll point you to the right direction. Don't just chunk the problem out there and expect an obscure answer.
