a puzzle we have to place 30 birds on 5 trees such that no tree is left vacant and number of birds on each tree is odd ??? our maths teacher asked this , ....

Any 5 odd numbers are going to sum to an odd number
OpenStudy (lawliet):
sum of the number of birds on each tree is 1mod(30) i.e you cannot achieve such a distribution since total number of birds is even and sum of 5 odd numbers will aways be odd.
