Should I start using khan academy?????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's a really good resource.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It helped me with physics.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Give it a shot. If it helps you, go for it. If it doesn't, stop.

OpenStudy (turingtest):

other resources: Paul's online math notes Wolfram Alpha Open course ware (From MIT) all have helped me greatly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

open courseware is to advance for me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I will use that when I get on too more advance algebra?

OpenStudy (turingtest):

Paul's online math notes is where you should start if you're in algebra. Once you get into Calculus and do some physics OCW will be more helpful, but it IS college-level.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and now good is your maths now???@ Turning test

OpenStudy (turingtest):

I took Calculus I in high school and managed to teach myself Calc II and III, Linear algebra, and Differential equations using mostly just Paul's stuff. The OCW still helps me improve my vector calculus though, because MIT teaches powerful techniques that you don't find in your average Calc II class.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow, brill, I am trying to teach myself Algebra and Geometry, any tips

OpenStudy (turingtest):

hmmm.... don't know any good Geometry sites offhand, but I say Paul is the way to go for Algebra.
