If two planes P1 and P2 are not parallel, then they intersect. The intersection of two planes is the line consisting of all points that are in both planes simultaneously. Let n1 be a normal vector for P1 and let N2 be a normal vector for P2. Explain why the vector n1 X n2 is needed to determine the line of intersection.
