How do i write the equations for the vertical and horizontal lines passing through point (2,1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(x) = 2 or y = 2 x = 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Vectical: x=2 Horizontal y=1

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

If a vertical line must pass through the point (x1, y1), then the equation of this horizontal line must be x = x1 So the vertical line is x = 2 If a horizontal line must pass through the point (x1, y1), then the equation of this horizontal line must be y = y1 So the horizontal line is y = 1
