Fun Fact #46: Meet the Bongo, it is a lesser known antelope that lives in Kenya. It is red-brown in colour with white and black stripes and if that doesn't paint a strange enough picture it also has slightly spiraled horns too. This colouration is also known to rub off, its said that rain running off these animals also carries the same red pigment. Despite its horns ranging between 75 and 99 centimetres they can run at full speed through dense forest (its habitat) through lianas and vines. It is able to do this by laying their horns on their back.
