You literally plug in 5 for y. |dw:1317442559393:dw| Remember PEMDAS! However, if you plug it into a scientific calculator, it will usually do PEMDAS. The basic 4 function calculators will probably not solve it by the order of operations, if you do not key it in the right order. The answer will be 2,760.2, but since people cannot be decimals, we will round down, so the answer will be 2,760.
