(x-xy-1)/(1+x)/y
SOLVING FOR HMM?
i have no idea. i just know it's a complex fraction that needs to be simplified i guess. !
LOL HMM.. IM GOING TO TRY AND HELP
Thanks, i appreciate it;
-1/2X :) IT WAS KINDA TUFF HAHA WHAT MATH IS THIS?
I CAN PUT UP THE WORK, I THINK IT MAY HELP YOU MORE THAN JUST THE ANSWER
AND ANYONE WHO IS WATCHING.. I'LL PUT IT UP ANYWAY
Thank you; that would definitely help a lot (:
dude, what's with the caps?
i dont know, it's developmental math in college. -.-
IM AN ARCHITECTURE STUDENT, I LOVE CAPS
is it (x-xy-1)/(1+x) then u divde the whole thing by y, or, (x-xy-) divide by (1+x)/y?
ITS ACTUALLY WRONG I JUST CHECKED MY WORK IM DOING IT AGAIN AND THEN POSTING THE WORK IN A PICTURE.. AND YOU CAN THINK OF DIVIDING TO BE MULTIPLYING BY THE FLIP SO FOR /Y ITS ALSO "X"-()TIMES 1 OVER Y.. 1/Y
so... is it (x-xy-1) x y/(1+x) ?
(x-xy-1)/(1+x)/y multiply both sides by y (y(x-xy-1))/(1+x) (xy-xy^2-y)/(1+x) You can't really simplify after that.
X-XY-1/Y+YX
(x-xy-1)/(1+x)/y=(x-xy-1/(1+x) * (1/y) =(x-xy-1)/(y(1+x))
