x/(x+3)+4=x/(x+3)

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

x+4(x+3)=x x+4x+12=x 4x+12=0 4x=-12 x= -12/4 x= -3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there is a contradiction here since after solving, 4 cannot = to 0

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

what 4 ??? there is like solution -3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x/(x+3) + 4 = x/(x+3) --> x/(x+3) + 4 - x/(x+3) = x/(x+3) - x/(x+3) --> 4 = 0

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

sorry but i now see that -3 dont can being x because than those fraction are undefined because than the denominators will be zero and than so this is not possibill

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ur rite, if x = -3 then the fractions become undefined.

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

because there is x/(x+3) +4=x/(x+3) x/(x+3) -x/(x+3) = -4 0= -4 - this equation havent solutions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yeah.. 0 = -4... sorry:P
