Does resonnance occur on an object due to the other?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The question is a bit unclear. But resonace is accumulation of energy in time such that the system fails to leak it or with little leakage. ( it can be disastrous). for e.g. while playing flute we push into system(flute) energy(wind) such that energy in form of wave(pleasent sound) sustains and we hear it(leaking energy). NOW if you consider it as objects then there is no such thing as other object. but if you consider the player as object (source of energy) and flute(system which resonates ) yes they are related

yes yes that is what i mean! i get your point about the flute and the player. so does that mean that resonnance is a phenomenum where max energy is transferred? how about guitars? how do they work on the basis of resonnance?
