((x-6)/sqrt(x-1))/ + 4(x-1)^1/2 = 0

Similar to your last question, we need to get rid of the sqrt. Write this as (x-6)/sqrt(x-1) = -4sqrt(x-1) Now there's an easy way to get rid of the sqrt.

OpenStudy (jamesj):

Ok, (x-3)/sqrt(x-1) = -3sqrt(x-1)

oh wait that was another question. let me try to solve this one i posted up again

OpenStudy (jamesj):
