the circle x^2 + y^2 = 49 consists of four one-to-one functions f1, f2, f3, f4. (1) find a formula for the function f1 and its domain. (2) find the inverse of function f1 and write it as y= f^(-1)x

|dw:1317542038325:dw|For the functions to be 1-to-1 a single x value can't yield two different y values, AND a single y value can't come from two different x values. For the first condition you can think of it as a vertical line can't cross the curve at two different points. For the second condition a horizontal line can't cross the curve at two different points. Can you break the circle into 4 parts so that these two conditions are satisfied?

yes each quadrant is a function
