If the population of a city at t=0 is 250,000 and the population at t= 3 is 295,000, what is the population at t=6?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what's the relation? linear, exponential

OpenStudy (stormfire1):

Assuming linear, since the population went up by 45,000 at t=3, if you double t to 6 you'd get 340,000 (total).
