can someone help me simplify this:

y^-2 +21 -5y^-4 -105y^-2 -2y^-2 +20y^-4 -14 +140y^2 ...main question is how do i combine liketerms?

if they have the same exponent number then you can combine them

okay so i can only combine the ones with ^-2 with ^-2 and ones with ^-4 with ^-4 ...i think i got it, thanks
