Prateek bought Rs 75000 worth of toys for his shop.He spent some money for transportation, rent for his shop and salary of salesman. If Profit % is 10 on his real expenses which was Rs.9,000 ,calculate his overhead expenses. Also explain the solution
Rs means rupees
pls sssssss
I need a little more clarity here. "If Profit % is 10 on his real expenses which was Rs.9,000" suggests that profit was Rs. 900 and that revenue for this time period was 9900. Unless we have information about Cost of Goods Sold, however we can't differentiate overhead from other expenses.
Nooo the profit is Rs.9,000
and Cost Price is Rs 75000
Okay, so are we to expect he sold all of the toys? In that case Revenue was Rs. 99000 and Profit was Rs. 9000. COGS was Rs. 75000 so overhead expenses were 90000-75000 = Rs. 15000.
OK THNKS
Just be careful that it isn't meant that Profits were 10% of Revenue, because that would be different.
I an having a book which has all the answers of the book which is having these answers so no need to worry
