Find the slope of the line through (6, -4) and (2, 10). I solved it by saying (10-4)/(2-6)=-6/4 = -3/2. So..I came up with m=-3/2 however my answer is wrong. What should I do?

Step 1: draw a picture: |dw:1317692535411:dw| By looking at the picture you can see that deltaX = 4 and deltaY = -14. You got a deltaY of -6. That doesn't jive with the picture, so start looking for why your calculated deltaY doesn't look like the one in the drawing. (Hint: you have a sign wrong.)
