writing a couple of arguments about an office situation, 2 people work under me, they are responsible for 2 other people each. Work load is uneven. No authority to change work assignments, but need to change office assignments. Don't really understand the difference..Please help
Well, perhaps their work and office assignments are of different difficulty and amount. The bosses could lighten the office work or space it out over a long period of time.
Work assignments are the amount and type of work attached to a job title ("office assignment"), so while the job titles and the work assigned to them can't change, it is possible to move the 6 employees around to find the best or most optimal fit (or to rotate employees through jobs so that work is shared more fairly). I'm not sure what the purpose of the assignment is? I've attached a drawing to illustrate. This is assuming any of the six "people" could be placed in any of the the 6 "jobs".
