Help please! Two circles intersect at A and B. Let MN be one of their common tangents. Prove that AB bisects the segment MN. dmancine and I got some drawings going but no answer yet. Check comment.

Here's a GeoGebra sketch. http://www.geogebra.org/cms/ It shows me that MN is indeed bisected, but not why. I wasn't even sure it was true if the circles were different sizes, but, alas, it is (empirically, at least).
