Your weight lifting class cost you a $20 fee up front and $5.50 per class after. Use the graph you made for the equation to approximate the answer to the following question: You went to 15 hours of weight lifting. Approximate the cost, according to your graph?

where is the graph?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = 20 + 5.50 * x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The equation is y = 20 + 5.50x I made a graph using Microsoft Excel. (Note: The graph starts at 0 for the $20.00 start up fee, but it doesn't let me start the x-axis at the value 0.) On the first day, you spend only $20.00 to get into the gym and workout. The next day, and the days afterward, you only have to pay $5.50 to get in. After 15 days you spend $97.00.
