The pages of a book are numbered from 1 to 128. How many page numbers contain the digit 6?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12

19 20 21 or 22

There is one 6 in each of the groups of 10...except the 60s which have 11 sixes. There are 12 groups of 10 (counting 120-128 as a full group of 10), so 11 have a single six and plus the 11 from the 60s.

Ahh, forgot about the 60s

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Some people would like to forget the 60s...and some people took substances that made them forget the 60s ;)

so what is the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You tell me...I gave you all the information you need. Now you just need to do an addition.
