subtract the polynomials.... ( 7/8x + 2/3y - 3/10) - ( 1/8x + 1/3y)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6/8x+1/3y-3/10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3/4x+1/3y-3/10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now i dont know whos right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u show the work plz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the first answer was not simplified, wait i'll show you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok ty

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it will be 7/8x +2/3y -3/10 - 1/8x - 1/3y, then combine like terms; 7/8x-1/8x +2/3y - 1/3y - 3/10, then simplify;(because they have the like terms have the same denominator, we will just follow the given operations; 6/8x + 1/3y -3/10 is the answer, now 6/8 can also be 3/4 thus the final answer is 3/4x+1/3y-3/10, gets?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

omg i dont know how u did that but thank you so much i have alot more so i hope u dont mind alot of these subtracting polynomials

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh sure, it is very easy, just apply the proper rules especially when it involves fractions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i wish i could do it as fast as u said it lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

practice everyday and you will get fond of it, piece of cake!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

highly doubt that but ok
